Sample for color flaw detection 40X is designed to determine the quality of flaw detection materials and capillary testing technology according to the corresponding sensitivity class. Control samples meet the requirements of RD-13-06-2006.

Are issued for three classes of sensitivity (I, II, III).

Control samples are made of steel 40X, have an artificial single dead-end crack with an opening width in accordance with the sensitivity class.

The resource of using the sample when used in capillary flaw detection:

• for a luminescent set - 100 times;
• for color set - 50 times.

The control sample should be stored in a dry place with a relative humidity of not more than 80% and an air temperature of 20±10°C. Storage rooms should be free of vapors of aggressive substances that cause corrosion of metal surfaces.
