Reduced force transducer IN-10 for testing the hardness of electroplated coatings by ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI). The force applied to the indenter is 10N (1 kg).

• various electroplating coatings such as nickel, chromium, zinc, tin, cadmium and others;
• thin-walled and small-sized products;
• products made of fine-grained materials in the local study of material properties;
• products with a polished surface.

Designed for INATEST hardness testers.

• The spatial position of the sensor does not affect the measurement result.
• The inspection area is only a maximum of 1 mm.
• Inspection is possible in grooves and blind holes with a diameter of 5 mm or more.
• The imprint left by the indenter is almost invisible on the surface.
• Tilts, spatial position and weight of the product have a much smaller effect on the measurement result than with the classical "rebound" method.
• The special design allows precise measurements regardless of the pressure applied to the sensor.
