KCR Ecoscan 2532 is a complex of equipment, the purpose of which is to obtain an image of a controlled object in digital format by conducting direct X-ray inspection using a transforming X-ray sensitive element, which is a dynamic flat panel detector.
The Ecoscan 2532 dynamic detector is capable of transmitting digital video images to the operator's workstation in real time with a frame rate of up to 22 fps, which allows remotely, using a manipulator, to correct the relative position of the test object, X-ray emitter and detector, exposing from various available angles. Due to the ability to obtain dynamic images in real time, the use of the Ecoscan 2532 complex is a convenient and rational solution for X-ray inspection in stationary radiation protection chambers and X-ray television systems and saves the working time of the flaw inspector, especially with a large volume of inspected products (production lines, conveyors), and also allows you to exclude from the budget of the enterprise the cost of supplying the laboratory with x-ray film, chemicals and equipment for developing, deciphering and storing images.
The case of the detecting unit is made of metal or durable plastic and has a carbon coating of the working area. The panel is powered from the AC mains, communication with the computer is carried out by two UTP cables, which provide a high data transfer rate. Gadolinium oxysulfide (Gadox) or cesium iodide (CsI) scintillators are used to convert X-rays into an analog light signal. Further conversion of light into electrons is carried out by a matrix consisting of a semiconductor material - amorphous silicon (a-Si), and thin-film transistors (TFT), which are semiconductor elements that transfer an electric charge to an analog-to-digital converter. The ADC measures the current received from the transistor, converting the electrical signal into a digital signal for subsequent transmission of information to the operator's personal computer, the bit depth of the analog-to-digital converter allows you to get a high-quality image in the range of up to 65,536 shades of gray. Further, with the help of the specialized software "Strazhnik" a file of the protected DICONDE extension is formed, which is available for further processing and analysis.
The "Strazhnik" software is the software used in the Ecoscan 2532 complex, designed to process the image obtained during the exposure.
The configuration of the operator's control computer ensures correct operation with the "Strazhnik" software during the entire period of operation of the complex. To store and process large amounts of data, an SSD drive with a memory capacity of 1 TB is used. A high-resolution monitor with a 24-inch display has an optimal contrast level, providing interpretation of radiographic images according to any of the control sensitivity classes in accordance with GOST 7512-82 and GOST ISO 17636-2-2017.
The basic delivery package of the control station includes the necessary peripherals: a wired laser mouse, a keyboard and a set of cables for connecting a computer. On request, the basic configuration and delivery set of the computer can be changed, or the desktop PC can be replaced with a laptop.
