The control and measuring device MARS "NORD-STD" is designed for digitizing, archiving, automated assessment, decoding and recording the results of control of radiographic / X-ray images of welded joints obtained as a result of radiographic inspection of welded joints at industrial facilities.
Functional characteristics of MARS-NORD:
- digitizing images using a scanner;
- automated search for a seam, a standard, defects in a welded joint;
- image quality assessment according to GOST 7512-82;
- sorting of welded joint defects and logging of inspection results in accordance with GOST 23055-78, SNiP 42-01-2002 (SP 62.13330.2011), VSN 012-88, PB 03-585-03, RD-153-34.1-003-01 , STO Gazprom 2-2.4-083-2006, RD 19.100.00-KTN-001-10;
- archiving images and inspection results;
- a set of tools and filters for visual analysis of images.
Snapshot Measurement Tools:
- dimensions of objects in the image with an accuracy of 0.1 mm;
- distance between objects and image elements with an accuracy of 0.1 mm;
- optical density at any given point of the image with an accuracy of 0.1 B;
- relative height above the level of the base metal with an accuracy of 0.1 mm.
The use of the MARS-NORD installation will allow to significantly reduce the possibility of errors in the study of radiographic images of welded joints, to systematize the archive and to increase the speed of image processing.
The installation is multifunctional due to the combination in one housing of such devices as a negatoscope, densitometer, measuring ruler and magnifier and others, which would certainly be required for visual processing of images.
