The X-ray interpretation stencil assists in film interpretation during radiographic examination.

Designed to evaluate the linear dimensions of detected defects (cracks, lack of penetration, pores, slag, tungsten and other inclusions) in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7512-82, GOST 23055-78, PNAE G-7-010-89, PNAE G-7- 017-89.

The stencil is made in the form of a flexible transparent film with millimeter scales printed on it and images of circles and squares of certain sizes.

The use of a stencil in the interpretation of radiographic images of welded joints contributes to the rapid determination of unacceptable defects and greatly simplifies the process of assessing the quality of a welded joint.
