A tripod for positioning the probes of the TKM-459 ultrasonic hardness tester provides a stable force and perpendicularity of the ultrasonic probe to the measured surface. It greatly facilitates the operator's work. It is recommended to use it for measuring small-sized items, as well as when inspecting a large batch of items.

The tripod is designed to work with Type A, Type H and Type C ultrasonic transducers.

A specially prepared tip is included with the tripod. It is installed on the ultrasonic sensor instead of the standard one. The height adjustment device allows you to easily set the required distance from the sensor indenter to the controlled surface. The tripod handle is very smooth. In the absence of pressure, it automatically returns to the upper position, preventing excessive stress on the sensor diamond.
