The thickness gauge UDT-20 is a high-precision universal ultrasonic with A- and B-scans. The presence of a real signal on the screen makes it possible to eliminate typical errors in thickness measurement using ultrasonic testing and improve measurement accuracy. B-scan allows you to build an accurate and visually clear profile of the bottom of the product.

Thickness gauge UDT-20 implements various possibilities of thickness control - high-precision measurement of the time to cross "zero", measurement of the time between "echo-echo" signals, measurement of metal thickness under coatings, etc. Any ultrasonic transducers with frequencies can be used with the thickness gauge UDT-20 from 0.5 to 15 MHz, both combined (including with delay lines), and separate-combined (separate) type.

• High-precision zero-crossing measurement, two independent gates and the latest low-noise receiver enable precision measurements with coupled transducers in echo-to-echo mode, including under various coatings.
• In the setup mode, the whole range of possibilities is available for adjusting the gain of the receiving path, AGC, TCG, generator and receiver parameters, prism delay calibration and material velocity, and so on.

• In the "TABLE" mode, the user can create any tabular matrix for the control of large-sized standard products by marking control points. This set of results can be transferred to a PC for subsequent statistical analysis.
• In the B-scan mode, the real profile of the product bottom is displayed with fixation of the signal minimum for the entire scanning time. This feature allows you to quickly scan large areas, paying attention only to the alarm readings when the permissible thickness exceeds the boundaries specified by the operator.
• The unique scheme of the device allows you to connect any custom transducers from any other thickness gauges, which eliminates the strict binding to a limited set of transducers from one manufacturer. Now it is possible to use any types of transducers available in the laboratory or available on the market, expanding the possibilities of using the thickness gauge: when a transducer is connected, the thickness gauge is easily calibrated against samples, compensating for the V-shape. In user mode, you can select any converter frequency, generator power, and other options.
