Section: State standards (GOST)
Document: GOST R 56339-2015
GOST R 56339-2015 applies to geosynthetic materials used in the construction, reconstruction, overhaul of highways and structures on them, and establishes a method for determining the deformation during prolonged stretching of geosynthetic materials with a constant load (tensile creep). The standard specifies a method for testing geosynthetics for creep under uniaxial tension and can be applied to geosynthetics with tensile strengths up to 500 kN/m.
Key words: geosynthetic material, tensile creep, tensile under constant load, elongation, tensile creep modulus, tensile creep compliance.
