GOST R 59691-2021 applies to geosynthetic materials, the thickness of which does not exceed 4 mm, used in the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of roads, overhaul of roads and structures on them, and establishes a method for determining water permeability in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the geosynthetic material [the filtration coefficient of the system "sand - geosynthetic material - sand" and the filtration coefficient of the system "soil - geosynthetic material - soil" in the design of structures].
