GOST 30643-2020 applies to the enclosing structures of buildings and structures, as well as to building systems, structures and products of factory and semi-factory readiness (including those used indoors) at all stages of their life cycle, used in construction, reconstruction and overhaul , with a heat and sound insulating layer of products and materials from a melt of mineral raw materials on a polymer binder.

GOST 30643-2020 establishes a method for determining the intake of harmful volatile substances (VLV) from the composition of construction products (structures, systems, products) into the air of residential, industrial and public buildings and structures. GOST establishes the procedure for testing these structures, systems and products.
