GOST 25898-2020 applies to building materials and products, including thin-layer coatings, sheets and films, and establishes a method for determining the vapor permeability of building materials and products and the vapor permeability of thin-layer coatings, sheet and film materials. The test results are used in carrying out heat engineering calculations, in the production quality control of building materials and products, and in the development of regulatory documents for building materials and products.
