Highly sensitive radiographic technical film Tasma RT-1 (sensitivity not less than 25 R-1) is intended for radiographic inspection of large-diameter pipes of main oil and gas pipelines, parts and assemblies, thick cast products, reinforced concrete and heavy structures by transillumination using X-ray, gamma radiation and bremsstrahlung from electron accelerators.
The base of the X-ray film Tasma RT-1 is polyethylene terephthalate, dyed in blue in bulk with a thickness of 175±10 microns according to TU 6-41-1576-93 or an imported base that meets the requirements of TU 6-41-1576-93.
As a packaging material for x-ray film, a light-protective and moisture-proof polyethylene bag is used, which is inert to photographic layers. Each sheet of film is lined with white paper on both sides.
Unexposed film should be stored in consumer packaging on racks in a ventilated room at a temperature of 14°C to 22°C and a relative humidity of 50% to 70%, where gases harmful to the film should not penetrate. It is not allowed to store the film in rooms where radioactive substances and luminous compositions of permanent action are located.
Film RT-1 is designed for manual processing.
Opening of the package and chemical-photographic processing of the film should be carried out under non-actinic lighting created by a laboratory lamp with a 15-25 W electric lamp shielded with a protective dark red light filter No. 107 according to TU 6-43-00205133-03-91.
Recommended solutions for manual processing:
Development time 4 - 8 min./(20.0 ± 0.5)°С.
Fixing no more than 15 min./(20.0 ± 2.0)°С.
