Ultrasonic hardness tester INATEST-U, based on the contact-impedance method (UCI) and is intended for local express hardness measurement in laboratory, workshop and field conditions.

A distinctive feature of this device is the absence of strict requirements for the cleanliness and shape of the surface and the positioning of the sensor. The indenter design allows for stable measurements regardless of the force and time of pressing the sensor to the surface, providing accurate measurements without the use of a tripod.

The hardness tester allows you to measure the hardness of metal products (steel, cast iron, nonferrous metals, etc.) of surface-hardened layers (carburizing, nitriding, HFC hardening, etc.), as well as galvanic coatings (chromium). Easy one-click change of the measurement scale provides quick measurement on all major scales: Brinell (HB), Rockwell (HRC, HRA, HRB), Vickers (HV), Shore "D" (HSD), as well as determination of the tensile strength on stretching of products made of pearlite grade carbon steels in accordance with GOST 22791-77.
